Eye-Friendly, Sun-Like and Free of Harmful Blue Light
In hundreds of thousands of years of evolution, human eye has become accustomed to natural light of the sun. Therefore, the more a light resembles the sunlight, the more pleasant it is to the eye. Spectroscopy methods have found that LED light using advanced SunLike technology (developed by Seoul Semiconductor) is most similar to sunlight. For this reason, the Serene Eye-Friendly Desk Lamp uses SunLike LEDs with a high color rendering index (Ra ≥95) reproducing all colors as accurately as in natural daylight. When producing light, they emit violet light (instead of blue light as with conventional LEDs), which reduces the harmful amount of blue light and creates a better, eye-friendly illumination. Blue light with a wavelength between 420 nm and 450 nm has a strong penetration potential and can damage the cornea, eye lens and even the retina. As the RG0 test did not result in any hazardous blue light by the Serene Desk Lamp Pro, it was the first luminaire worldwide to be certified for low emissions (approval number: 2 PfG 2383 / 06.166).

Flicker-Free, Even Light with Pleasant Color Temperatur
With 88 SunLike LEDs, the Serene Eye-Friendly Desk Lamp Pro emits a homogeneous light spreading evenly across the surface. It guarantees brightness without blinding and uses high-resolution RC elements altering the wave frequency from flicker-prone transverse waves to longitudinal waves. This can be achieved by a stable lamp power supply, reducing the flicker of light and avoiding any unnecessarily straining of eyes. It has a color temperature of 4000 K, which is the industry standard for color temperature requirements for eye protection preventing eye fatigue.

Intelligent Control and Reminder Function for Learning Breaks
You can control the light by Yeelight app via your smartphone, or via the touch bar on the base. Here is also the smart "learning pause timer button". If you press and hold for 2 seconds, the protection setting will be activated and lights will fade and dim again reminding the child to take a break at certain, individual intervals. This protects the eyes and trains a healthy learning habit.
